Dear Talabat Management Team,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received from your company. Not only was my order significantly delayed, but the communication and customer service were also unacceptable.
I placed an urgent order for a company commitment and stressed the importance and urgency of the order. Despite this, the food was delayed due to transportation issues. As a result, I and my colleagues had to face embarrassment and awkwardness in front of our entire floor.
To make matters worse, I waited for an hour and a half without any update on my order and finally when I requested a refund, I was met with resistance and told that it would only be credited to my wallet to be used at a later time. I expressed my frustration and stated that I no longer wanted to use the app, which prompted the agent to ask me to “mind my language.” This is not only unprofessional but also insulting.
Furthermore, the compensation offered – a mere 1.5BD – is completely inadequate and insulting given the embarrassment and frustration caused by this experience. Your company not only failed to deliver on its promise but also failed to take any meaningful steps to rectify the situation.
I demand a full refund for my order in my bank account and an appropriate amount of compensation for the inconvenience, embarrassment, and frustration caused. If this is not addressed promptly and satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to share my negative experience with others and advise them to avoid using your services.
