I have been receiving many calls supposedly from TATA AIA Cancellation Department in New Delhi from 01206532520 and others. They call to inform me that TATA AIA will be giving away some Policy Benefit Payout. The range of the payout as they mention in various calls range from INR 1.75 lacs to INR 73,932. For this they want me to send them a copy of Insurance Certificate, Address Proof and INR 12000 in cash. I could understand the call was fraud so called up TATA AIA Customer Care and they too confirmed the same that it’s a fraud call. Now in my case I could make out it was fraud as I was aware of what to expect from my policy but there are many people who might fall for these calls unknowingly. I would appreciate if actions can be taken against these people.
