Placed an order for ₹3,500 including 4 different types of chairs. No invoice has been sent from the company.
The company was accessed via thecartshop.in\myshopify.in. I found this site on Google.
I have been scammed before by some businesses via Instagram, so I know the pattern of how no invoice is received and how the website becomes unavailable.
Only the payment merchant site confirmation of the amount being debited from my account has been received via mail. The payment portal was RazorPay.
Since I have made payments to genuine websites before through the same, I trusted it to make this payment as well.
The amount involved is quite large and I am very skeptical about not receiving any contact details or tracking information regarding the order. I do not have any source where I can raise an issue with the website. The email that was sent just said “Contact Eleagant for any further queries”.
Who is Eleagant, I have no clue. No hyperlink is attached either.
Without having proper means to retreat back to the actual merchant, I don’t understand how a customer is supposed to raise an issue. Not getting a confirmation, nor an invoice, nor any assurance of getting the product, I am bound to believe that this is a scam and I want immediate relief.
This is the reason why this complaint is being raised.
