I recently placed an order on a Karnataka-based e-commerce website. Visit decor.thefreakykart.com. The bizarre kart. Considering them to be a local company and establishing the reasonable prices.
On May 6th, 2023, I placed a pre-paid order for 50 quantities of “pollroids – 44 inches” for Rs 349/- with OrderID-43511.
On the invoice they sent me via email, it stated that I would receive further updates within 24 hours of placing my order. However, as of the time I’m writing this application, they haven’t provided any updates.
And when I tried to contact them via email, WhatsApp, Instagram, or WhatsApp call, they didn’t respond in a suitable manner. There are “n” complaints in their review section on Google, and no additional appropriate steps have been taken to address them. One who trusted and tried to support the local business gets duped by a small number of people like them is very disheartening and in a position of mental distress. Their team is completely negligent on their part.
Few people like them still abuse consumers mentally in a market where they have many rights, costing them money, time, and mental health. Even though my amount is not much greater, every penny has value, and I want to use my legal options to make them realize that they have obligations. Since many innocent people who didn’t know about their rights as consumers fall victim to them and have no choice but to lose hope and money, I sincerely hope that I can receive some assistance. It’s not just about me.
