We purposefully canceled our final charter leg from Badrinath to Dehdradun for financial reasons.
On the 23rd, we were informed that the helicopter could not take off due to bad weather. However, on the 24th, when the weather cleared, we were informed that the helicopter had run out of fuel and that we would need to travel by car.
Three passengers became ill during the nine-hour road trip that was supposed to last 35 minutes, ruining our plans for the rest of the trip.
According to the company, they scheduled the charter season from May 10 to June 23, 2024, taking into account the crew’s flight duty restrictions and scheduled maintenance for the helicopter(s).
In order to guarantee that everything is finished by June 23, 2024, they scheduled our final Chardham charter to leave Dehradun on June 20, 2024. Nevertheless, on June 23, 2024, bad weather prevented this group of passengers from being brought down.
After receiving their approval, the company scheduled two Innova cars to transport the passengers to Dehradun.
Their additional stay at Badrinath was also covered by the company.
When the company claims to have paid for an extra night’s stay in Badrinath, they are lying.
We paid for the stay in Badrinath as part of our original tour package.
When you take the tour schedule for the 24th departure, how can the company perform the maintenance that is planned? This is a service deficiency because they are simply refusing to fly the scheduled return journey charter on the 24th.
