Uber Pool Taxi service is a great concept. But they indulge in malpractice of levying entire amount of toll charges to ALL co-passengers using the service. I availed the Uber Pool taxi from my residence in South Mumbai to BKC on August 4th. A co-traveler boarded the taxi very near from my home as we headed towards BKC. The driver took the fastest route via Bandra-Worli sea-link and paid the toll in cash for Rs.60. At the end of my trip, I was charged the full amount of the toll to my receipt. I would have expected the charges to be split equally between me and the other pool passenger. I raised a complaint with Uber but they denied having charged the amount inappropriately. Infact, they wrote back saying both the passengers would have been charged the same amount Rs. 60.
This is cheating as Uber is hauling out double the amount of toll of Rs.60 from each of the co-passengers.
