The travel agency Unimoni financial services limited has one branch in Surathkal, Karnataka. I applied through them for Brazilian Visa. The agency, first of all delayed the submission of documents to the embassy even when they knew that I was running tight on schedule. I submitted almost all the documents to them on 22/04 and I was supposed to fly on 03/05 to Brazil. Secondly, they applied for a student’s visa for 8 week internship when it was supposed to be applied for visitor’s visa (as mentioned in the embassy rules). My handler in Brazil also informed me that I am supposed to get a visitor’s visa for an internship period of below 90 days. Due to the ignorance of the agency, my visa got cancelled and huge cancellation charges were incurred for the already booked air tickets.
