I bought a TOM FORD’s ‘Tobacallo Vanille’ from their selling platform. They were marketing the products through Instagram and that’s where I met them for the first time. They quoted TOM FORD Tobacco Vanille for Rs 8900 and I was really surprised to see such a low quote. As I had used the same Perfume in past, I knew the fragrance and was confident that I can make it out if the product is fake. Only after they confirmed that in case I have an Iota of doubt, on the genuineness of the product, they will refund it 100%, with no questions asked, I ordered the parfum. I started chasing them when I didn’t hear anything back from them after 3 days of the order. When I chased incessantly, the salesperson stopped responding for 2 days and after 2 days he said, we have dispatched the product. When I asked for a tracking number, it was provided to me after 2 days, as it was of the Delhivery company, I could check online that they have only requested for pick up, but the pickup hasn’t happened. I continued my chase with the salesperson to which he frustratedly responded that the dealer isn’t having the product and hence he can’t guarantee that the shipment would ever happen. After 2 weeks of consistent chasing, they agreed that they can’t get the product and can offer some other fragrance. I told them to send Tobacco Oud as the other option or refund me the money. They said that they will send the Tobacco Oud, from TOM FORD only, and will ensure that the product is genuine and they will open the packaging of the product to ensure the same. As I had every reason to doubt this kind of check, I asked them for a refund and that’s where their tantrums started. As a goodwill gesture, they offered me a 50% discount. I got carried away and asked them to ship the product whenever they get it. Finally, the product arrived after one month of placing the order and to my surprise, it was in a sealed packing. The packing looked good at the first glance but when I opened the packing the flimsy cardboard gave up the bad quality of the material. I ignored it and opened the bottle the get the juice and its fragrance. The moment I applied it, I could easily make out that it was the worst fake someone can make, there was no fragrance of Whiskey and only cinnamon fragrance was omnipresent. The concentration wasn’t good either. I checked the bar code from the scanner which was fake and to my astonishment the number under the bar code was present in one of the videos on the youtube channel, ensuring that the producer also looked at the same youtube video and copied every bar code serial number. The real ordeal started now when I am trying to contact them, and they are saying sir, it’s genuine, and no word on the refund. PLS STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY ARE CHEATING PEOPLE!
