Took money for MI 20800mah but delivered nonfunctioning spurious tampered marked as Sony
I bought MI 20800 mah power bank from Whaaky.com through their unsolicited e-mail advertisement. I paid the entire amount they quoted by net banking. They did not respond for more than 3 weeks. On my complaint to support site of Whaaky.com they told me it is being shipped and send me website of Delhivery..com as their official couriers. When there was no delivery after another 2 weeks, I again complained to Support site. This time they said that courier people could not contact me ( I was very much in station and never got any phone calls or msgs) and material was returned to source.and will be reshipped to me soon. I waited for another 3 weeks and finally I got a call from Delhivery.com that the material has reched for delivery. I went all the way to their office to fetch the power bank I paid for. Since I had lost trust on Whaaky,com, I opened the packet in front of the manager of Delhivery itself. To our surprise we found a spurious looking Power bank named as “Sony” 25000mah. The manager of Courier is a witness of this fraud. When I took it to my home and tried to charge the power bank for 8 hours it showed full power (all 4 indicator light on) When I tried to charge my mobile with it it failed to do so. The USB line looked old and tampered. When I complained to Whaaky support, they asked me to send a photo of the material delivered. When I send it, they are asking me to send the material back to them at my expense, I refused it and said they can either refund the cost or provide with genuine MI 20800 mah power bank. They can pick back the spurious material after doing that. Now they have stopped communication.
I don’t want to send back the material which is the only evidence of this fraud now. They are trying to get it back and fool me again since I wont have any evidence after that.
I pray to you take urgent action against this online fraud
