sir/madam,
I am a student of CA FINAL, my exams are coming and for that i ordered a book online from www.cakart.in Order No: 20160216-104401-7722299 on 16.02.2016 for Rs.1100
They did not provided me any consignment no. even after asking for the same.
After 8 days of waiting when i did not received the book then i complained about this and i was then informed that they dont have the book in stock.
Then they offered me to buy some other book for the same amount.
When i objected and told them that i shall move to the consumer court if i dont get the book within next 2 days, to which they ensured me that they will anyhow provide me the book in next two days ,
and i waited again. Now today again the time expired and total of 10 days passed.
When again complained to them and at the same time i complaint to PAYUMONEY the payment gateway,
The reply came from the CAKART that the book is not available with them and they offered me to buy a new version of book costing Rs. 3000. by paying the balance amount of Rs.1900. to which i denied.
I will be given the refund now.
Now i want to ask for the maximum damages for so much of inconvenience and waste of my 10 days, and still i have to wait for another one week if i order the book from another merchant.
During the days of preparation for a exam like CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT i cant just let anyone waste my 10 days,
They should have informed me about the non availability of book on the very first day.
They never took the initiative to inform me anything,, Everytime I had to login to the site and ask the through chat or over phone..
I felt so cheated,
