I placed an order of Nilkamal Freedom shoe cabinet on 14 oct 2013 through Pepperfry.com. I made the payment via net banking.I received just a sms with order confirmation no – 300128807 but they didn’t email me the order invoice. Initially pepperfry displayed 24th oct as approx. delivery date which they changed to approx. dispatch date as soon as i made the payment.Anyways i waited till 24th oct but there was no update on the order. Then i started calling their customer service.I made multiple STD calls when they put me on hold for an unlimited time and kept telling me that they will call back soon with order info but they never did.After few more days i received a sms with the courier tracking id- red express courier AWB#C0009293D42885. But when i tried to contact the courier service i was told that they don’t have any shipment from pepperfry for my name and address.I tried to clear this up with pepperfry staff but they made a very bizarre excuse that my order was not shipped because my address ( Dharampur, Dehradun) is in rural area.Since when centre of a city like dehradun become rural.If it were the case how did i manage to receive courier from international sites like amazon and mango and that too in time. Pepperfry is a fraud company full of lying, corrupt, deceitful, irresponsible staff whose sole purpose is to dupe people of their money.Once they get the payment they don’t care to deliver the product.I even sent emails to pepperfry with my complaint but no reply whatsoever. Please take strict action against pepperfry so that i can either receive my order or else get a refund from them. Regards Ashish Semwal 9410326822
