This is reg my booking IDs 101115526 & 101115534.
They are not ready to refund though I am cancelling within the time frame.
In confirmation voucher they have mentioned that cancellation request must be raised 4 days before check-in time. I raised 10 days before, still they are not ready and giving fake reasons.
I dont know ‘Rameshwar Bhavan”where I had booked, I know Yatradham and now how they people can say cancellation policy is sub to accomodation policy of property. If it is, why they dont mention it with the point no 7 of confirmaiton voucher ?
This is cheating with the customers. Prior booking, I had checked with their customer rep also, I dont have recording. Request to check call recording of 01st Dec between the duration 1130 to 1215 hrs. Their rep clearly told that I can cancel even a week before.
Rs. 28000 is not a small amount for middle class family like us, due to some personal unavoidable reasons I have to cancel and I need my money back.
Request support pls.
Regards

Dear [Recipient’s Name/Concerned Authority],
This is regarding my booking made through Yatradham.org for a room at Sahjanand Wellness, Rishikesh.
At the time of booking, I specifically inquired about the cancellation policy in case of a medical emergency. I was informed that a refund would be provided if valid medical proof was submitted.
Unfortunately, on 27th May, my mother suffered a hip bone fracture, was hospitalized, and underwent surgery. Her doctor has strictly advised against travel for the next three months. Based on this, I requested a cancellation and provided the necessary medical documents as evidence.
To my surprise, my request was denied on the grounds that it does not fall under their policy, despite earlier assurances. After a few calls and discussions, during which I expressed my frustration and mentioned that I might as well have donated the amount, they abruptly stopped responding. Later, I received a message stating that my booking amount has been donated as a charity to the trust, without my consent.
This is completely unacceptable and appears to be a clear case of fraud and unethical business practice. Such behavior erodes customer trust and violates basic consumer rights.
I request that appropriate action be taken against this conduct, and that my refund be processed at the earliest. I am also prepared to escalate this matter further to relevant consumer forums if needed.
Looking forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
