I booked for my wife, Anitha Sathianathan to travel from Calicut (CCJ) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) for 31-July-2017 by 9W6647, ref. PNR: MS0GCL. The booking was made on 21-July-2017 at 13:00 hours.

I have read your declared Policy of ‘Zero Penalty Fees’ for change of booking made within 24 hours.

I tried to change the above booking from 31-July to 02-August (CCJ/AUH), on 22-July at 10:30 hours, but to my surprise, there is a additional charge of INR 6, 961 (whereas the fare on checking the site is the same as the previous day). Since there was no change in the published fare for this sector, and there was a ‘zero’ fee for change announced by Jet Airways, I did not accept the additional fee and did not change the booking – this caused me considerable inconvenience and disruption in travel plans.

While I did not change the booking at the additional cost, I request you to investigate this non-compliance of Jet Airways declared Policy of ‘Zero Penalty’ for change of booking. If this booking change can be effected without a fee, I would still prefer to change the booking – please advise at the earliest.
