I bought a product from amazon india and paid by credit card.
For some reasons I was not getting good responses from the seller to my queries so I cancelled the order. This is fine. Thanks to amazon for offering such an option of cancellation.
During the process I was asked to select one of the options for ways to get back the amount
Original payment method and Amazon pay balance.
I choose amazon pay balance, yet the system is crediting it back to my credit card.
Agent says when you cancel refund goes to original payment method, but then why did they offer more options?
amazon should streamline their SOPs.
