WE HAVE HAD COUNTLESS PACKAGES DELIVERED HERE THROUGH THE YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS. WE HAVE MADE AN EFFORT TO LET THE DELIVERY PERSON KNOW WHERE WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE ITEM PLACED. THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE FACES THE MAIN STREET, SO WE MADE UP A RATHER LARGE SIGN TO LET THEM KNOW WHERE TO PLACE THE PACKAGE. THE PLACE WE CHOSE IS ON THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE WHERE IT IS HARDER TO SEE FROM THE STREET. WE RECEIVED A PACKAGE THIS MORNING, SOAKING WET, LEFT ON THE FRONT STEPS!!!!!! THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. NOTHING WAS DESTROYED BECAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT, BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE. PLEASE REMIND THE DRIVERS THAT THERE IS A REASON FOR THE RESIDENT TO POST SUCH A SIGN FOR PACKAGES. THE PORCH THAT WE CHOSE TO USE IS NOT OUT IN THE OPEN WHERE IT CAN BE NEARLY DESTROYED BY THE WEATHER OR STOLEN BY SOMEONE. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING
