I HAVE BEEN AN AMAZON PRIME MEMEBER SINCE 2015. I AM DISABLED AND HOMEBOUND. RECENTLY WHEN THERE IS A PURCHASE THAT NEEDS TO BE RETURNED AMAZON CHARGES FOR REUTURN PICK UPS. THERE HABE BEEN NO COMMUNICATION(S) OF ANY KIND THAT AMAZON POLICIES HAVE CHANGES FOR PICKUP. WHEN ONE IS HOMEBOUND AND DISABLED THIS IS A DISSERVICE AND CONCERN. IT APPEARS THE ONLY WAY TO FILE A COMPLAINT OR ASK FOR XONSIDERATION IS BU CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE OR VIA EMAIL. I HAVE DONE THIS SEVERAL TIMES. I ALSO REQUESTED AN EMAIL BE TO BE SENT TO ME STATING MY COMPLAINT HAS BEEN ESCALATED TO THE “APPROPRIATE DEPARTMENT”, NEVER HEAR BACK AND CISTOMER SERVICE REFUSES TO DISCLOSE THE DEPARMENT NAME.
IN ADDITION, IT IS MU UNDERSTANDING THAT MY MEMBERSHIP FEE IS UP FOR RENEWAL IN FEBRUARY 2023 FOR $119.00 YET AMAZON OFFERS A DISCOUNT OF 50% FOR EBT/MEDICAID IN ORDER FOR AN ESTABLISHED MEMBER TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT PER CUSTOMER SERVICE THE MEMBERSHIP NEEDS TO BE CANCELED AND THEN SIGN UP FILING OUT A FORM WITH EBT/MEDICAID INFORMATION. THIS TOO IS A RUN A ROUND ABD INCONVENIENCE.
HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH NOT MAKING ACCOMIDATIONS FOR THE DISABLED/HOMEBOUND…WE’RE ALL ON MEDICAID/MEDICARE?!
IS THERE SOME WAY TO BE ABLE TO RETURN ITEMS WITHOUT BEING CHARGED FTOM HOME?
IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO FILE A COMPLAINT DIRECTLY OTHER THAN AMAZON’S CUSTOMER SERTVICE?
IS THERE A WAY TO RECIEVE THE EBT/MEDICAID DISCOUNT WITHOUT CANCELLING MY ACCOUNT, MY ORDER HISTORY OF 15 YEARS? THANK YOU!

It is a joke that Amazon asks how the delivery was. No matter how specific one is with delivery location instructions the drivers deliver anywhere they want including in front of a sign that states “no deliveries this side of house”. Amazon does nothing about complaints.I am wheelchair bound and can reach packages with a tool if they are left on a porch. Although I have reported this to a real person who stated they worked for Amazon customer service,there has been no change. Packages from Amazon continue to be delivered where the driver wants. One driver, during evening deliveries, typically chooses an area I can’t reach and not protected from rain and snow. This location is also in visual sight at the street and is well lit at darkness.
