Been with American Home Shield for nearly 10 years with very minimal claims to typical appliances. Paid monthly and in full with any service copay charged. When confronted with an appliance breakdown, AHS decided that they did not want to pay for the problem, even with the knowledge that two separate repair companies did investigations of the washer and stated that it would have a large amount repair or full replacement. Repair company even took video of washer showing that the drum and bearings would need to be repaired. AHS decided that they didnt want to pay for the repair/replacement as they said the washer was in fine working order and no repair was needed (even after 2 companies verified the failure). Tried to cancel my service, but was given the run around to not cancel, even AHS offering to pay for 2 months of service on them. I will never use them again, as they are thieves and take money, but do not pay out on claims. NUMEROUS people are having the same problem, to no avail.
