Dear Sir,
I am covered under Master Policy No.0303833272, date of commencement 28-Sep-2013.The sum assured is Rs. 46,96,500/- (Rupees forty six lakhs ninety six thousand five hundred only).
It is clearly mentioned (on page 7 of 11 – under heading “Accelerated Critical Illness Benefit”) in your above policy that “on the diagnosis of any of the critical illness on the life of a member, the sum assured as per the schedule of insurance as on date of diagnosis of the critical illness shall be payable by the Company”.
In this case, it comes under CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE REQUIRING SURGERY (copies of hospital documents attached). As per the policy, payment is to be made against diagnosis and not related with treatment. The case is crystal clear and you are requested to take necessary action on the claim and release the payment equivalent to sum assured under the policy.
I want to finalize the matter on priority as you have already taken a long time to settle the claim. You are once again requested to settle the claim without any further delay otherwise I will have no other option but I will be forced to take legal action on the matter.
