I am facing an issue with Colive Columbus 1180 regarding(room 504) an unjustified rent hike. I moved into this property along with three of my friends under the clear agreement that the rent for each of us would be ₹15,000 per month plus extra charges for private rooms. This agreement was confirmed by the Colive salesperson during the booking process.

However, upon moving in, I was shocked to find that my rent was set at ₹16,500 plus extra charges right from the first month. To make matters worse, my rent has now been further increased to ₹18,000 without any prior notice or explanation.

I reached out to the Colive dues team, and they informed me that this discrepancy was due to a mistake made by the salesperson while entering my data. They also stated that they are unable to rectify this issue. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly with Colive, no corrective action has been taken.

I have all the necessary proof, including WhatsApp conversations and official emails from Colive executives, clearly showing the agreed-upon rent of ₹15,000. It is extremely unfair and unethical for Colive to demand a higher rent due to their own internal error.

I am filing this complaint to seek the following resolutions:

Immediate correction of my rent to the originally agreed amount of ₹15,000 per month.
Refund of any excess amount I have been charged so far.
Assurance that no further unauthorized rent hikes will occur during my stay.
I request your intervention in this matter to ensure that Colive rectifies this issue and honors the original agreement.
