I booked a flight from kuwait to Thailand for myself and a friend on 19/04/2018. We were booked on flight EK858. On this flight to Dubai we sat in seats 85A&85B we felt as if staff forgot about us since we weren’t served drinks and only got food flung at us when the captain announced that we’ Make our descent in 20 minutes . This was a disgrace. It was however worse on our return flight. We were booked on flight EK377 on 26/04/2018 @ 15:40. We were sat on the runway for well over an hour. The aircon stopped working and were only told to disembark when people started taking their luggage. We were left stranded till almost 21:00 before the aircraft was repaired and we could return to Dubai. Once we landed in Dubai at about 1am. We were informed that there were no flights to kuwait until 7:45 am. Myself and my friend had to buy extra tops and shawls to stay warm. Again we accepted our fate and didn’t complain, but the airline should have offered to pay for hotel accommodation. To add insult to injury as I was about to board my flight to kuwait EK855 an alarm went off and I apparently had an alert on my luggage. I was left very confused, since no explanation was offered. I believe I’m due an explanation here. No official apology was issued to any of us for the delay and shoddy service. I’m deeply concerned since my friend and myself are booked on an Emirates flight in June to South Africa. What nightmare awaits us next. I hope you’ll get back to me promptly, because as a loyal, paying client I deserve much more and better than this.
