Flipkart – Sandisk pendrive 128GB

On 08-Feb-2024 , I ordered a SanDisk Cruze Blade SDCZ50 128 GB Pen Drive
(Red,Black) for the price of Rs.789. The product was delivered to me on 11-Feb-2024. I thoroughly checked the pendrive. It was printed 128GB on the pendrive. But when I connected it to my laptop, I found that it has only 8GB space overall. I immediately placed a return request to flipkart by following all the procedures properly and uploading the pictures of the pendrive also. After the request was placed, I thought that the pendrive would be returned as it might be some faulty product case. But here, the main culprit who came into limelight. The seller of the product “MTAILMODEECOM” (Sri Ramana Solvex Private Limited ,
Ship-from Address: Rectangle No. 06, Rectangle No. 07, Rectangle No. 08 and Rectangle No. 13, Village- Khalikpur, Tehsil- Badli,
District- Jhajjar, FC- Farrukhnagar, Jhajjar, Haryana, India – 124103, IN-HR ,
GSTIN – 06AAHCS7535A1ZJ) rejected my return request without even confirming or contacting me. After which, I again raised a return request the next day on 12-Feb-2024 , but again the same thing happened and the seller again rejected the return request on 13-Feb-2024 and closed the case. I then couldn’t carry on with the case as I had my job at hand and vacations were over so I went on my job, and when I returned after 2 months, I went to the WD service center in Dehradun by the name Rashi Peripherals Pvt. Ltd., Bindal Beidge, Chakrata ,Dehradun, which is authorised service center for sandisk products. There, I contacted the WD customer care executive and told him the whole scenario. He asked me about the details of the product and also for a serial number which is usually printed on pendrives. But, there was no serial number on the pendrive which was delivered to me. It was then , that I came to know that it was a counterfiet product. The executive told me that the product is a counterfiet and it can only be returned by the seller. What a case of fraud going on in flipkart. I thought it was only me but as I went on to search for a solution , I found hundreds of such cases fromthis single seller..
All I want now is that this forum should look into this matter and punish the seller who is selling such counterfiets and fake products without any fear and how easily he rejects the return or replace requests. The flipkart should also be taken into account because it pays least attention to the customer’s requests and querries and doesn’t care to resolve them on time. This seller MTAILMODEECOM should be served with a penalty of much more than the price of the product due to the mental agony it has caused to me and the return of the product should be done along with an apology letter. The seller should be punished for making and circulating such counterfiets in the market altogether and flipkart should not keep such seller on its platform.
