My sister was flying today from Borg El Arab airport to Dubai that leaves at 2pm and the staff on the counter were very unprofessional and rude. They stopped her from traveling because of a minor mistake in the residence document provided by the UAE embassy which is not her mistake, it is definitely the embassy’s mistake however they prevented her from traveling in a very rude way. She is also pregnant and couldn’t stand for long time but they didn’t respect any of this.

Now she returned back and the flight will not be refunded although the embassy can scan the barcode and check its validity but that wasn’t accepted too. She got a perfect deal with a reasonable price but now if she decides to book a flight again it will be for a ridiculously expensive amount. Is there any way to get a refund or a replacement for the flight since all the procedures were followed completely and the mistake was not from our side.
