Dear Sir/Madame
Our CEO, Ms. Sajida Shroff, recently flew on FZ 081 from Dxb to Bahrain. We paid extra for her have comfortable seating (Seat 2F).
When she boarded the plane, the overhead luggage compartment above her PAID seat was filled with the airline staff’s personal belongings.
She asked if they could make space for her belongings above her PAID seat.
She was informed by Zuzana that it was important for her (the staff) to have her belongings close to her but that Ms. Sajida’s bag could be placed in an overhead cabin several rows away.
So according to this staff Zuzana – it was more important for her (the staff) to have her belongings close!
And it was of no relevance to ensure that a passenger who has PAID extra for her seat – has her belongings close to her and is comfortable.
Moreover Zuzana stated that she had done her job by finding a space for Ms. Sajida’s briefcase in an overhead cabin and was not apologetic or helpful.
• Why would the staff keep their belongings in an overhead luggage compartment paid for by a customer?
• Why didn’t the staff move their luggage to ensure that the customer’s belongings were close to her and close to the seat we paid extra for?
• Does Fly Dubai condone the attitude taken by this staff Zuzana of “too bad – not my problem”?
This level of customer service is disappointing and pathetic.
BTW Ms. Sajida told Zuzana that she will be complaining so then Zuzana said – “I will be complaining too! Give me your boarding pass” which Ms. Sajida did upon request – mind you – I am confused about what Zuzana can complain about!
Isn’t it her responsibility to ensure the customer is comfortable?
We would like appropriate action taken and this poor attitude to be noted in Zuzana’s file.
Again – the fact is that Zuzana did NOT care about the customer’s comfort and was only interested in safeguarding her own belongings.
Also what will Fly Dubai be doing to rectify this for Ms. Sajida?
