I made cancellation for my flight 6E-806(PNR:JDV7KA) by calling the airline on 9 February 2017 which I had originally booked from goibibo. The airline told me that we will make refund of Rs.725 to goibibo in 48 hours and they will return it to you. Till 14 March 2017,I didnt get any communication from Goibibo and neither the refund. So I called them to know the status and got to know that they havent initiated the process yet. I requested to initiate. they told as I had made payment of Rs.500 by promotional cash and rest Rs.1000 by online payment, they will give me Rs.500 as promotional cash and Rs.225 in my bank account. With disheartened heart,I agreed. Till 15th March 2017 evening I got a feedback call from them and I asked them why havent I got any communication about promotional cash refund yet. They told that as my promotional cash account already has Rs.500 and thats the maximum limit, I wont be getting anything. So out of 725 refund,I just get 225 because they have some limitation on their promotional money account. Why am I suffering. I had paid Rs.1000 approx by online transaction too. They can adjust that 500 there ad instead of 225 they can give 725 in bank account. Why I just get 225 in total?
