GoRoomGo – Refund not paid, fooled customer by falsed commitments

This is regarding booking in the name of Abhishek Puri. When we reached to the hotel Moon near High Court on 25th June as we have 4 rooms booking all altogether on 3rd floor with mountain side facing room however when we reached venue hotelier has offered us only two rooms altogether and other two on back side which was on 1st floor.

Here my ask is when we had already paid advance of INR 4716 on 23rd June for the rooms as promised to us then those rooms should be blocked for us basis our check in and check out date. This is very disappointed when we reached hotel for which we had paid advance money we had waited there for 3 hrs but didn’t get rooms as promised. On the contrary we were offered 4 rooms at Mall road which was without lift, without geyser facility that too only standard rooms which was also on different floors. Since we have in our family 3 senior citizens above the age of 80 yrs waited in cold weather till 6.30 pm on 25th June, due to non availability, we left from Hotel Moon as we have left with no choice and went to Bhimtal after long tiring journey from Delhi since we didn’t get any rooms in Nainital. All were costly not in our range.

I would request you to kindly help me in getting full refund amounting to INR 4716 at the earliest. At that time, hotel person Mr.Virendra also talked to Mr.Sumit who takes care of all the reservation booked through GOROOMGO.COM and requested him to return back our money as we were suffering a lot with cold weather and long tiring journey with three small kids. We were given assurance that we will get refund so we went to Bhimtal.

We are still waiting for refund which was promised to be made on 26th of June before 1 pm by Mr.Sumit 7903806373. Am still continuously following up for my refund for the last 4 days with Mr.Tej (A/cs Manager-8095770542) but not getting any fruitful response from him. Mr.Tej is also threatening us that they will not give us refund as there is last minute cancellation.

However, I have checked their refund policy which clearly states that full refund will be made within 7 working days if customer is not satisfied with their services.

Now they are not even picking up my calls and not even responding to my emails sent on [email protected].

I would appreciate if you can look into it and help us in getting full refund as we didn’t get rooms as promised to us which disappointed us.
