Hi,

I had booked a studio apartment with Jaypee Buddh Circuit 1 in pre-launch and have been waiting patiently since then for the construction to pick up. I even called multiple times in the last year to track the progress and have always received false hopes from customer care. They kept saying that the construction is about to commence.

I came to know recently that the project will not progress further and that people are trying to get their money back. When I approached them for the same, I came to know that they will take a couple of months to approve the refund application and then start giving refund after 1 full year and that too in installments. Whoever told them that people trust them enough to believe the crap they are talking now. Besides, as per a clause the earnest money will not be refunded. Whereas the company representative told me that they will. There is a major discrepancy in whatever they are saying and seems like filing a case should be the best option.

If there is a group case being filed, I would like to be a part of. But what is the best way to identify a good lawyer who has a successful track record of fighting and winning similar cases? Fellow members, I seek your help!
