With great upset I would like to register my complaint against Lulu on the parking fee imposed on me after completion of my shopping in Al Barsha Lulu Hypermarket.
On Saturday (04-Nov-17) I entered Lulu mall around 11 am with my family and did shopping for a worth of AED 1400. We had spent almost 3 hours in Garment & Grocery section and then had lunch in Calicut Notebook restaurant inside the shopping mall, where it took another one half hours (which normally takes) to complete our lunch.
While exiting from Lulu, I was asked by Lulu Security to pay AED 20 as a car park fee since I have spent more than 3 hours even though I had showed him the purchase bill amounting AED 1400. Since other cars were standing behind me, I had just paid the requested fee without any argument and left the mall.
If Lulu allows free parking for only up to 3 hours, then why Lulu have provided the in house restaurant facility, which is taking minimum one half hours for serving lunch? Do you think, the person comes with his family can finish his shopping and lunch within 3 hours?
Finally, it is not just a matter of 20 dhs which I have paid and it is a matter of principles which have been adopted by Lulu without having any logic and deceiving the customers…
I hope Lulu will understand the issue and reimburse my parking fee back to revert my good opinion on Lulu…
I am ready to produce my shopping receipts to justify the above.
