It has been pending for over 25 days… N it’s not just the delay… It of wasting our time:
1. Before booking the ticket I had cross checked the cancellation process… N it seemed perfectly simple.
2. So, now when I was booking the ticket online the money got deducted but the ticket was not received..
3. Si I called again the call centre, n they informed due to some it issue the ticket couldn’t be issued. So I should go ahead booking n new ticket n previous money will be refunded back.
4. When I asked for some written confirmation, they rejected n said I have trust them as there is no process of emails by call centre.. Which is completely absurd..
5. Nonetheless, I trusted mohit n team n went ahead issuing a new ticket.
6. Then as we needed to change the date immediately it was done in goa airport by the passenger.
7. Then I had to cancel the ticket, I called the call centre. They informed I had to fill the request frefund online. Then again it couldn’t go through.
8. So again I called the call center, they said no problem and send email to [email protected]. Which I did immediately.
9. Assuming my refund in process, I received a reminder email from oman air for the flight… So I called the call center again.. Then new info.. They said they shall do the needful online in me behalf..
10. Finally the ticket was cancelled then now the refund.. After 2 days when I followed up with the call center, mr mohit the so called supervisor of the oman air call center, confirmed to me I can go to any oman air office and collect the refund amount immediately in cash. I cross confirmed with him multiple times.. And still confirmed. He gave me the nearest office addresses in dubai.
11. Then removing time I visited the office in bur dubai, dubai and met mr balaji.. Who gave us a completely different story… But having said that he promised to sort this issue.. Again we trusted him and left..
12. Now it has been 20 days n no response on the refund and still the process clarity in not there by any staff in oman air apparently.

Oman cancelled my flight home from Thailand twice in one day, they wanted me to fly later than i was booked however because of family commitments and the fact i would lose my job i had to book a ticket with Thai Airways for just under £400 i twice complained and got the obligatory email saying someone would contact me however nothing happened and i am out of pocket having paid two times for the same ticket. If i wanted to change my flight with them there is a cost……………………….I WOULD NEVER USE OMAN AIRLINES AGAIN

    Booking reference: KZLREP, Hyderabad to Dammam , I have cancelled my booking on 10 Jan-2019, and received confirmation email that a your customer service agent will contact me shortly and till today 15 Jan-2019 no one has contacted me. Kindly expedite my refund at an earliest.. Thanks
