PayTm – Cheating by Paytm

I have purchased a oppo mobile from PayTm with order No. 8601329537 on dated 27 June 2019. There was too many offer on the purchase of this mobile. One of them was exchange offer. I opted for the exchange offer, in which there was an extra benefit of Rs. 3000 on and above of the cost of the old mobile.I read all the term and condition for the exchange of the old device and my device was totally fit for that all conditions, so I chose the exchange offer. I was offered that my old mobile will be picked up for Rs. 5550, which will be given back as paytm cash back. I have paid the whole amount of Rs. 23990/- through my Yes Bank Credit Card. Paytm delivered me the new mobile on dated 29 June 2019 and schedule a old mobile pick up on dated 2nd July 2019.

The person, who had come to pick the old mobile, did all the quality checks and he did not find any fault. He had taken about half an hour to one hour to do all the quality checks. He checked it is getting on and off. He checked its charging and take to many photograph to check its camera quality. He did not find any fault. But he was not ready to pick it as he wanted some bribe should be given to him as he know that it was giving me Rs. 3000 extra money under an offer. When i did not pay him any thing he did not pick my mobile for exchage. I asked him that I will complain you to the PayTm for this. And he was so confident that he asked me do what ever you can do I will not pick your Old mobile.

Then I made many complaints to PayTm Through Query No. 130032473, 130034579, 130073960, 130301771 on their portal. I also made complaint on phone conversation through query no.12978926 on dated 2/7/19 at 4:32 pm, 130032473 on dated 4/7/19 at 6:25pm, 1303017711 on dated 6/7/19 at 7:30pm, 130684593 on dated 9/7/19 at 7:45pm.

I connected with the PayTm mall Customer care no. 01204606060 and told them all the story of their courier person who was come to me to pick my old device, and did not picked it up as he wanted some bribe to be given. The old device or mobile phone is absolutely fine and it is working flawlessly. There is no damage on screen as well as the back panel. I have requested them to conduct an independent quality check from any other person to check the truth. They always assure me to give me a right resolution but they rejected my request by just saying that it is not according to our term and conditions. I have read all their term and conditions but i did not find any against it. I asked them can you tell me what is the fault in my old mobile, they are unable to tell me.

I think paytm is just befooling the customer by giving the attractive offer on their site to sell its goods but in reality when the product is sold it does not fulfill its commitment. If it does not involve in all these kind of practices, it atleast keen to know the truth and do the necessary to satisfy its customer and take the action against their employees who wanted monetary benefit from the customer.

In above all things i feel cheated and mentally harassed by the PayTm. I have also had a monetary loss in all this. If I know that my old device will not be exchanged (which is properly working according to their terms and conditions), I would not purchased a new mobile for this too much money.

I request you to please look into the matter and make a good decision so that these online site could not cheat the customer. I want to file a case against them.

I feel myself to helpless as nobody is ready to help me as I am cheated and misbehaved by the courier boy (the company’s employee)
