Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal consumer complaint regarding an order I placed with Merchandise Smitten. I had ordered the following five items:
1. Vegdas Khadi Herbal Shikakai Honey Shampoo
2. Femio E-Watcher Clove Oral Care Sensitive Toothpaste
3. Nivea Lemon & Oil Shower Gel
4. Nivea Men’s Anti-Control Face Wash with Mangulika Bark Extracts
5. The Derma Company 5% Niacinamide Daily Hydrating Moisturizer
However, out of the five items, only one item was delivered, and four items were missing from the shipment.
I raised a ticket immediately and shared all required evidence, including photographs. I also requested a replacement of the entire order, considering the severity of the issue. However, Smitten refused to acknowledge the request and claimed that the shipment was sent correctly, without verifying the facts.
Additionally, the platform has no proper customer support channel to reach out for clarification or escalation. My complaint ticket was closed abruptly without providing any appropriate resolution, despite clear proof of missing items.
Such behaviour amounts to seriously unethical trade practices, causing financial loss and inconvenience to me as a consumer. I therefore request the Consumer Forum to intervene, investigate this matter, and take necessary action as per consumer protection laws. I seek a full refund or replacement of the missing items and corrective measures against the merchant to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
