Hi, I have also got call from Hotel Pride, Ahmedabad for membership of club. I went there and basis discussions I agreed for membership. So I became member since Sep16 and made full payment.
I have also requested a booking for The Ananta, Udaipur. After consistent followups for booking finally after 1 month they refused booking. During this period even after after one month I got agreement. Surprisingly I found that the discussion/commitments made by Mr. Ashish, Mr. Mansuri & Ms. Kinjal are nowhere matching with agreement. These guyz are big frauds.
So I have asked them to cancel my membership, and that is also dishonoured, I am still following up with them for my refund but no revert. Please find my last email.

Dear Ms. Seema/Mr. Kumareshan,

Despite of several communications in verbal and written regarding membership cancellation I didn’t get any satisfactory answer yet.

I clearly mentioned reasons for membership cancellation in trail mail however I am reiterating same as under.

While membership booking commitments made by sales persons very clearly discussed and I have reconfirmed 12 nights usage policy and other benefits. But after my consistent followups when I have received agreement, it was not matching with discussions happened.
Besides that I have given booking request well in advance than you people mentioned, but that also didn’t fulfilled.

Now you have not left me with any choice, I am taking up this concern with Consumer Forum (CERC, Ahmedabad), copy already marked in this email.

Discussions & Commitments made by sales team on 17-Sep-2016 @Hotel Pride with Mr. Ashish, Mr. Mansuri & Ms. Kinjal which is not mentioned or not matching or hyped with misleading information.

1. SunStar has tie-up with 5 star properties at all prime tourist locations in India and abroad. Hotel Laxmi Vilas Palace(Udaipur) The Lalit(Goa) & JW Marriot (Mumbai) was few of them.
2. Member will get 12 days booking anywhere any time without any extra charge(Ex. maintenance charge) with commitment that we will give you in writing in agreement that if you book holidays just before 2 day of holidays then we will give you confirm booking.
3. I can share my 12 days with anyone (family, friends or relatives), It can be possible without my accompany or with my accompany when I am sharing my holidays.
4. The SunStar Club will be ready in 2 years. Till the time the club is ready I can use Hotel Pride/Hotel Marriot Ahmeadabad.
5. I can use SunStar Club party plot/hall 8 times withing 20 year membership without any extra charge for my personal social functions.
6. If I wish I can discontinue my membership on 10th/20th year and I will get back entire membership amount back which is paid at the time of membership.
7. Member can check hotel tie-up list online & book/check status of my holidays on your website & app, where I have member login.
8. As a special offer on spot booking I have been offered a 3 night & 4 days couple holiday package at JW Marriot (Mumbai) along with to and fro airfare from Ahmedabad.
