Order placed today on big basket website, order accepted and delivery confirmed within 90 minutes. Within 45 minutes, a delivery boy, who gave his name as Raghav, enters our society complex by registering with main gate security. While I am expecting him to reach our apartment, I get a shock when I get a security app update that he has left the society in 20 minutes flat, without even coming to our apartment. I found his number from the security gate and called him in vain as it was unreachable. When I checked the order status on the website, to my utter dismay, it showed updated status as “Delivered”. Voila, here I am still waiting for the delivery and the man has already delivered somewhere and gone. I call customer service to complain, get some apologies and an assurance to get a call back with status of and action on my complaint within 15 minutes and a new delivery within an hour. I wait for over 2 hours and nothing happens. I call again and get some more apologies and another request for one more hour to check what happened to my delivery ???? Can you believe it? For a botched up 90-minute delivery promise, Big Basket needs more than 3 hours to even find out what happened to that delivery – Wow, height of efficient customer service ! I must also mention that my second call lasted over 20 minutes because I was put on hold for half the time while the CS executive/floor supervisor conferred in the background. Dear Shahrukh and Ratna jee – are you listening? Please do your due diligence before endorsing these services…….
