ClearTrip – refund of air ticket cancellation

We have done air ticket booking through Cleartrip for 10 people on 15 November 2019 for our journey from New Delhi to Coimbatore dated 21 June 2020 vide booking trip id -191115312508 as it was confirmed ticket from cleartrip team as we have message received from them.

Due to the unfortunate Covid-19 happened in the Month of Mar 2020 as Government imposed nationwide indefinite lockdown and we were not able to go to the trip as schedule. Now because of this we had cancelled our ticket through online process of cleartrip on 4th May 2020 and got the cancellation confirmed message from cleartrip. Now we are asking our ticket money to be refunded and we have got all the communication happened with cleartrip.

Now cleartrip had other story they were putting all the blame on indigo airline that they have deducted all the ticket money and they cannot refund the amount to us.

To Make it clear with Indigo We had also spoken to indigo airline customer care Executive (Mr. Dharmender) about this matter and he said cleartrip did not informed us about the ticket cancellation and it is totally cleartrip fault and they will have to refund the money to you.
