I paid a deposit of 20k AED on the 23rd Oct and I wanted to visit the apartment on the 26th Oct but it was not possible as the apartment was locked. And on the 26th Oct, I found that it was actually rented by a guest and I needed to wait for his approval to be able to visit the apartment and no reply till 30th Oct where I decided to not move with the purchase of the apartment and request for a refund.
I have sent several documents and up till almost 2 months later, I do not have any clue when I will have my money back.
And my due date on my credit card has already elapsed and now I will need to pay for the interest of 1132 aed for Nov and i will need to pay more for Dec which is totally unfair.
I have checked with the sales associate and the customer service and they are unable to give a date when the 20k will be refunded to my account?
During the event, it was promised that the refund process will be a smooth process and now I am waiting for almost 2 months and I need to lose my time and energy to have to follow up everyday for the management to approve to have my money back.
It is really unacceptable this client experience and for sure never ever, I will trust DAMAC ever again. Really wish that DAMAC Properties could treat their after sales customers the same as their prospective customers.
I will trust Damac ever again and I am seeing that it is not only me who is facing this kind of issue.
