I am an etisalat user for 3 years ( 1 yr prepaid and then i switched to postpaid) and I applied for my postpaid account last november 2015. I’ve been paying my bills on time eversince and i never miss any payment nor ask any charges whenever my i receive my bills. September 2017 my visa is about to finish so i settled everything, close my account and paid whatever i need to pay. I paid 827 for the closure of my account last Sept 14 and they said i will wait within 72 hrs for me to be able to close my account. Last Sept 23 (my flight) I received a call from an etisalat costumer service representative. I told her that i need to close my account before leaving the country, and i thought it was close already. On October 1st week I received an email which says i need to pay for my October bill, I was shocked when i received that email so i replied and told them i already close my and they ask for a reference number which i provided them right away and they replied “please wait 5 days” coz they will going to check my complain and after how many days they said i wasnt able to close my account so i filed another complain to close my account.I provided them my active phone number where they can reach me anytime but they didn’t call-Nobody called me. Time passed November 1 I received again another email from them that i need to pay for my november bill which i know for sure i didn’t use and I provided them reference number, contact number, payments receipts. I dont think i have neglection on my part.so i replied to them if why is it i still have another payment to settle and they replied the account is still active. so i made a complain again and send everything but they replied i really need to pay everything and then give them my reachable phone number which i actually did last october 13. What am i gonna do now? They keep on charging me bills i know for sure i am not obliged to pay for how many times i said i need to close my account and there is a neglection on their part that they didnt call me for confirmation of closure thought i provided them my number that they can reach me. Almost 1 month now. I hope etisalat you will do your best for you clients and be humane enough. Thanks
