To whom it may concern,
I, Abhishek Shukla, booked a flat with SVP Group (Booking ID: GVBOOK/00024/133-14, unit/Flat No. T-1-1002) in their Gulmohar Vatika (NH24, Ghaziabad) project in January 2014. I paid INR 5,45,742, which is 15% payment prior to the beginning of construction as per the agreed terms and conditions. The tentative time of possession was after 36 months (January 2017) as per the provisional allotment letter. Once the initial payment was made, I made repeated calls to them to enquire about the project. Whenever I called, I was given a new date of excavation/beginning of construction. I kept on contacting them and frequently visiting them for close to 4 years, and did not receive any concrete update about the project except false assurances. Then I thought that I shouldn’t wait anymore and take some action. In August 2017, I met SVP Group contact person, Kavita Goel, who instead asked me to cancel the booking or look for other options with them. As per Kavita, there were some approvals pending from GDA with respect to the project and they were not sure about how much time will that take. I opted for the cancellation with refund of my money. I asked for cancellation in August 2017 and they said that the refund process will take three months (November 2017) from the cancellation request date. I followed the process and waited till November 2017. I even did not receive any acknowledgment email from SVP regarding my cancellation request. I called Kavita Goel repeatedly but she never cared to answer my phone. I was in the middle of no-where. I decided to visit SVP head office in Ghaziabad and met Kavita Goel there, who once again gave me false assurances along with the new timeline to refund the money which was mid of December 2017. Then, I called SVP group on 13th December 2017 to check the status and happen to speak with Charitraveer Singh who stated that SVP has diverted my money to some other project and once again gave me another deadline of end of January 2018. I was surprised to hear that, it is my hard-earned money which I need badly now.
I request you to help me get my money back from SVP which i have already paid as per the present BSP in that particular project along with the relevant interest rates prevailed as per Govt norms and regulations.
I will appreciate your quick revert and intervention in this regard.
