I am Pulla Rao Vejandla. I have a problem with the internet service provider “Hathway Broadband”. I have taken the Hathway internet connection in the month of April-2017 and had paid bill for two months i.e. from 15th April-15th June.
I have again recharged my account by paying the bill payment on 19th of June. This is a six months plan and i have paid 3098 INR and this will be valid from 19th of June to 19th December 2017. Again on December 17th, i have recharged my account with 3178 INR which is from 19th December 2017 to 19th June 2018. These were the payments which i made after taking the internet connection.
1st payment : 1500 (April 2017-June 2017)
2nd payment : 3098(June 2017-December 2017)
3rd payment : 3178(December 2017-June 2018)
These guys deactivated my account and when i enquired regarding this, they have told me that there was a billing update still pending and they told me that they are registering a complaint. After that they again told me that the payment which i paid in June was not reflected to the account and took the money for the June-December which i paid in December. Everyday when i am calling from 21st December 2017, these guys keep on telling me that i will get the connection by evening or else in 24 hrs but i am not getting my account activated.
I do not understand why these guys will be telling on such fake stories when there is nothing wrong from the customer. I have a call recording which the hathway guys spoke to me regarding my issue and they clearly stated that the mistake was from their side and there is nothing from me.
So i want to complain regarding this to you so that you can help me in this. I am vexed up calling to these guys and getting my blood pressure to extreme. I have a serious necessity of internet. Please solve the questions which i have.
Q1. If i did not pay the bill for the (June-December) why did these guys give me internet connection for 6 months without any information regarding the bill issue?
Q2. These guys clearly stated that payments from my side have been done, why are they not giving me internet when the bill was totally paid?
Q3. These guys does not have a proper customer care who takes care of the customer’s problem and making us ruin our lives by creating health issues. Is this the right way to do the business?
Please take necessary action on the Hathway broadband and if possible please close this cheaters totally so that it does not happen to some other like me.
