1. Unreliable system
Firstly, I owned Etisalat Signature Credit Card with AED1, 000 joining fee, then it is cancelled after being used less than 6 months by the bank because of their internal system issues.
2. Always providing inaccurate information
More than 3 weeks I have followed up an encountered with some rude staffs ( I can say there was only 1 from 5 is professional), finally I got replaced by the Platinum Credit Card which is normally free for 1st year (but being told it is upgraded). Staff promised that I will get the annual fee I spent for my previous card refunded in my new card, but nothing till now. Whenever I tried to check with call center, they kept giving me different information. Asking to wait for a call back but have never had anybody calling back
3. Rude staff and untrustworthy
This is the 2nd time I have to submit a complaint to Mashreq about their customer service. They have no improvement. Customer service is the worst while the other 3 local banks I have used are good. The survey system is not reliable. I don’t know how it works but staff can opt to hang up without allowing you to participate the survey. Sometimes system does accept only positive feedback when I tried to rate for negative score, the system did not accept.
Recommend not to use Mashreq service. Firstly I applied a card for this bank because I wanted to help the agent (which gave me wrong info about the card benefits as well) to close his target and I now feel fully regret.
