I ordered 7 items advertised on 30 % discount by nykaa dot com on 16 December.
1. On viewing the bill I was surprised since total price of items was 4368 on top of it discount was given for 437 and total came out to be 3494. On it tax was levied amounting to Rs 436.80 so grand total was Rs 3931 which is actually just 10% of discount on MRP but they are advertising 30% discount on their website.
2. The items were promised to be delivered in 3-5 days but this shipment was delayed. After writing mail they sent it across on 23rd December
3. On opening the packet I was disappointed to see two items were unsealed and only label sticker was attached instead of proper cellophane seal. I suspected something odd by then and on opening the packet I saw the contents of lipstick were sticking to lid detached from the holder and it was in bad shape and not usable.
Also another item ie lipliner has a rotational device at bottom. On opening that I found the top of product was broken and the rotating device was not working and made a clicking sound. Hence both these items were defective/ broken and could not be used.
I wrote a mail the same day to return/ replace products. I received a by default mail and no reply since then. I mailed thrice already yet company has not responded since last 5 days. It advertises on its website that on receiving return request for defective item it will address the complaint if it is received within 5 days of receiving order.
After not receiving response I followed up on social media / facebook site of Nykaa dot com. I posted my complaint and received a default. No action was done in 3 days still. I was shocked and appalled to see It was not only me but atleast 50-60 more customers were complaining for receiving damaged products and being ignored/ mistreated by customer service of the company. Thereafter I felt there was malicious intent on the part of company that they were sending defective/ broken items so frequently to most of their customers after advertising heavy discount they were cheating twice. Once by giving 10 % discount after advertising 30% and on top of that sending defective items consistently instead of working ones that customers paid for. In addition to that they are not addressing complaints on mail, phone or facebook page. Instead they shamelessly keep on promoting new products and fake discounts instead of addressing multiple customer complaints on every page shared by them.
On account of this I am complaining as there seems to be gross injustice carried out by this company against customers. I am only one of atleast hundreds of customers being cheated everyday. Please look into it. You can also visit their facebook page and verify customers demanding return of defective items being ignored and them carrying out more sales promotions shamelessly instead of addressing core incompetency.
