In November 2022, I received a call asking me to come pick up free vacation vouchers at the Oakwood Residency in Whitefield, Bangalore. They took my credit card under the guise of a no-cost EMI check and processed a 2.5 lakh transaction. In parallel, they used my wife’s signature on the paperwork as proof of their understanding. We opposed them the very next day after realizing they had SCAMMED us. Their entire staff deceived us by making false promises. According to the MCA, (Harish Kumar, Paras Sharma, Shadabh, Sachin, Sanjana, and their Registered Director ABDUL RASHID) have all lied to us about their names, positions, and attitudes toward refunds.
We complained to NCH, but they didn’t respond (Docket No. 4101683). As a result, NCH asked us to file a case in CONSUMER COURT.
The merchant lied and claimed they hadn’t received any money from my card (as per the bank’s confirmation), so we were asked to file a cyber complaint. We then raised a dispute with my bank.
We also filed a complaint at the Whitefield Police Station, where the Inspector called the director, Mr. Abdul Rashid, to warn him to return the money or else a FIR would be filed for fraud, deception, and misrepresentation of free vouchers.
Even though he claims to be the marketing manager and not a director of this company, even he doesn’t respond to anything. According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs Director Registration Act, if that is the case, they are lying.
It has now been six months. We still haven’t gotten our money back. No one returns our calls or emails.
In the worst case, they respond to emails only once per day at 05:55 PM, after which they shut down their computers. Innocent people are being harassed and conned over these activities, and when the police arrive, they flee to Delhi.
On December 10, 2022, a complaint was filed against their three employees at the Bellandur Police Station in Bangalore for defrauding customers using the name of a free voucher.
