Dear Sir/ Madam, Self, Mrs Manisha Mahale enquired for Tour pacakge of 6-7 days South India. Mr Sagar fromTravovia India Pvt. Ltd, assured us the same and forwarded the tour plan. He confirmed the same and assured the booking of the hotels at Mysuru and Coorg for 2 days each and also the dedicated conveyance throughout the tour. He had asked for 50 percent of payment in advance ( Rs 15000/-) which we paid. Till 3 hours prior to departure, he failed to provide details of the chauffer and vehicle details. After reaching the hotel at Mysuru, we learnt that he had neither done any hotel bookings at both the locations nor paid anything to the chauffer. He and his assistant Pooja didn’t respond to any of ours 25-30 calls / messages on both the mobile numbers and the number given on the tour website has been barred from incoming calls. We had to face lots of inconvenience, especially being with the family and deed our own reservation and paid the driver. In the evening, the chauffer demanded his advance. After repeated attempts, Mr Sagar picked up the phone and informed us to pay to the Chauffer. After enquiring for the hotel reservation, he failed to the explain us the utilisation of advance paid by us. He admitted not doing any hotel reservation and told us to be on our own. With the experience which we had, we opted to be on our own and asked for the refund, after which he asked for the bank details and we provided it. He assured the refund very next day. Even after 6 days, as on this day, he has neither refunded the advance nor responded to any calls and messages. This is utterly fraud travel agency caused financial and mental agony especially at the eleventh hour. How can such agencies and staff behave and remain non-communicative like this? If it is beyond their capabilities then inform the customers well in advance. We are forced to take this step knowing well that it will take time but also have some action on the defaulter as well. Our intention to file this is as it is a deterent for the agency and should not cause similar harrasement to any customer. Thank you.
