I hope you receive this message soon. I’m writing to let you know about a very unpleasant experience I had recently with your laundry services, especially with regard to the cost of the wash and fold.
In addition, I should mention that when I ordered a Tumbledry wash and fold when I was living close to the Acropolis Mall, I recharged Rs 2000 for the service in order to receive 10% off of all orders. However, after moving to New Alipore, I had to pay extra because the service only applied to the Southern Avenue store and not the New Alipore store.
Which games do you engage in with your clients? Such egregious dishonesty. Have some fear, at the very least, of God and bad luck.
If nothing else, you should at least inform your clients of all of these things before pocketing their money like a ravenous Zamindar.
I used Tumbledry’s wash and fold service last month for Rs 70/kg, which was an agreed-upon and clearly stated price.
When I placed a similar order recently, I was shocked and disappointed to see that the price had increased dramatically, to the point where it was now Rs 100/kg.
This amounts to a notable and unwarranted increase of almost 43%, and I find the lack of openness and communication to be wholly unacceptable.
To make matters worse, the manager on Southern Avenue told me that there wasn’t enough money in my Tumbledry wallet when I was paying for my wash and fold service.
I was forced to recharge Rs. 2000 immediately in order to complete the transaction.
After that, when I carefully examined the bill, I was horrified to see the Rs 100/kg fee—a detail that had been conveniently left out of the recharge request.
I feel like I’ve been duped and used as a devoted customer by this situation.
Finding such a flagrant lack of integrity and openness in Tumbledry’s business practices is depressing.
I think it is my right as a customer to be notified of any price changes, particularly one this significant like the one I’ve just gone through.
In light of the circumstances surrounding this transaction, I kindly request an immediate refund of the Rs 2000 that I was forced to recharge.
In addition, I beg Tumbledry to fulfill its initial commitment to charge me Rs 70/kg for my wash and fold service.
For Tumbledry, keeping your customers’ trust and confidence should be your top priority.
These kinds of dishonest tactics damage your brand’s reputation and erode the confidence that clients have in your offerings.
I have faith that you will look into this right away, make the necessary corrections, and make sure that similar incidents don’t happen again.
