Blue Mountain Resort and Hospitality
Their list of fake commitments and subpar service has deceived my son.
We were given a vacation that was more of a struggle than anything else. The fictitious promises are listed below.
1) Throughout India, *We have partnerships with 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts*
Even during off-season, they only charge a maximum of 2500 rupees for the rooms they offer.
a) They gave us a property in Mussoorie with a room that was equivalent to the bathrooms of a five-star establishment, and the property’s tariff was Rs 2882/-.
2) *We offer premium category accommodations* – Every room is Basic Deluxe Category.
3) *We Provide Breakfast with Room*: All rooms come without breakfast, and upon request, they state that they will not be able to accommodate the request.
When we arrive, they claim we are not providing breakfast, despite a printing error on the voucher that mentions a room with breakfast.
5) *You can Book for the Holiday Anytime* – All bookings must be made via email and must be made at least 35–40 days in advance. Vouchers are not sent until the final days of the actual trip.
a) There were insects in the rooms that were given to us at the “The Grand Shiva” hotel in Haridwar.
b) They provide all toiletries for a single occupant even though there are two occupants.
c) There is no in-room phone with a housekeeping dial in the hotel room. The receptionist forgets to send the requirements each time we have to call.
The holiday shifted from being enjoyable to being more about solving problems.
Every year, they will levy an ASF amount, from which they will provide hotels that cost between 1500 and 2500 rupees.
They provide such poor service in exchange for keeping the full booking fee in their pocket.
The business is a scammer. Avoid falling into the same traps.
