Regarding my Ola S1 Pro (Gen2) electric scooter, which is registered under the license plate KA 20 HC 4208, I’m contacting you. I just ran across a worrying problem.
I put my Ola scooter in vacation mode on January 25. When I came back on February 3rd, I was shocked to discover that the scooter would not start even after I tried to charge it.
I then filed a complaint (Order #01986571) with Ola customer service in the hopes that it would be resolved quickly. Unfortunately, the problem did not go away even after several follow-up complaints were made.
Finally prompted action after multiple tries, and my scooter was towed to the Udupi Ola Service Center.
To my surprise, though, I was told that the battery had deep discharged and needed to be replaced at my own expense.
This information is extremely worrisome because, at just four months old, my scooter is still well within its warranty period.
It’s depressing to run into a major problem this early in my ownership career, particularly with a crucial part like the battery.
I implore Ola Electric to look into my case right away and uphold the terms of the warranty by paying for the battery’s replacement.
I have faith that Ola Electric will quickly resolve this matter and maintain its dedication to quality control and customer happiness.
