I am aware that every person who has complained here about ruparel realty has invested their hard earned money towards their dream of owning a flat in mumbai, so did i? I had booked a flat with them in the month of june 2018 and had to cancel the same due to certain personal reasons. The cancellation was informed to them in the month august 2018 itself via email. At the time of booking i was informed by one mr. Arvind yadav that the refund would be done within a month time but when i actually cancelled the booking i was informed that the process would take six months and the booking amount of rs, 51, 000/- will not be refunded nor would the charges and taxes of rs. 10, 080/- which as per them has been paid to rera. Technically speaking the refund was to be credited to me in the month of january 2019 but till date it is not done. Continuous followup via email and calls with mr. Aniket kasar has proved fruitless and they still are adamant citing unreasonable reasons for nonrefunding the balance amount. Everytime that i followup with them he lands up giving different excuses. Even after intimating them that we shall approach rera and consumers court they are still not refunding my money. Please advice.
