Travel Triangle
On September 23, we are taking a trip to Kerala, and we have already paid 75% of the quoted price.
We decided to cancel the trip not for personal reasons but because of the terrible Nipah virus outbreak because we couldn’t risk our lives while observing the increase in cases.
The government has not declared any restrictions, but because we are traveling with my 1-year-old child, we can’t dare and risk our lives.
The travel agent (vendor) through which we made our reservation completely differs from the travel triangle’s cancellation policy.
What purpose does booking through this travel triangle serve if the vendor won’t adhere to the rules or policies of the primary parent?
Since the virus outbreak that caused the cancellation was not our personal reason, we would like to be reimbursed for our payment.
