I bought a flat in sec 88; gurugram atturning point point. It’s developer are vatika limited gurgaon.

I got an invoice in which they have charged me 18% where as i thought it was supposed to be 12%. On inquiring the same i got the below reply from them :

‘we would like to inform you that the gst has been calculated @ 12% on the due amount & 18% (9% on cgst & 9% on sgst) on the taxable amount, but if you calculate the amount comes same.

Please note that the taxable amount is 1/3 of the due amount.’
