We traveled from new york to abu dhabi on ey 102 on 20th august -2017, departure 15.00 hrs.
Our family usually prefer to travel through ethihad flights and we had very good experience with it previously.
Unfortunately, during my 13 hrs flight we had experienced differently. Many times we raised the light for a service from the staff and no one turned out. I wanted to have water and to meet my need I went to the pantry and met a lady staff on white jacket. I asked her for water and she gave me glass of water. I asked her gently why no one responding on the light from the guest and immediately she replied can’t you hear the announcement from the captain for seat belts so how can we come?
I just kept quiet and back to my seat. After some times I raised the bell repeatedly and no one turned out. During their schedule only they served and the sandwich were served was not even wormed and as if directly took the fridge and served.
I have noticed during my whole flight the staff were busy on going to the duck for sleeping and not caring anything else.
During a 13 hours flight the guests might have different needs and the staff must offer the service as well I believe.
As a frequent traveler of ethihad airways and I had very good experiences previously, I believe to have the same in the future too.
Kindly look into it and as a gust this our right to have good service and response from the staff.
